The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Sodus woman on an active bench warrant issued out of Hopewell Town Court.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office took Alison Luckenbach into custody on Thursday on unrelated charges and then transferred her to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.
Luckenbach is scheduled to return to Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
