The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 34-year-old Ronnie Britt, of Newark, on Wednesday afternoon at the park-and-ride lot near Exit 42 of the New York State Thruway.
Deputies say Britt was taken into custody on a warrant issued by Manchester Town Court. He is charged with aggravated criminal contempt, a Class D felony; aggravated family offense, a Class E felony; and endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on November 28 in the Village of Clifton Springs.
Britt was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
