The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office raised $7,000 for Special Olympics New York
On Facebook, Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck announced that his team, The Cayuga County Lock-ins, raised the money through its participation in the 2025 Oneida Shores Polar Plunge on Sunday. The event saw teams brave the icy waters of Oneida Lake to raise money to support the Special Olympics.
The sheriff thanked all those who donated to the team.
