Seneca Falls Police picked up a Waterloo man after he skipped a scheduled court date.
Officers arrested 45-year-old John Smith on a bench warrant tied to earlier charges of petit larceny and criminal mischief.
Smith was processed and taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he’ll stay until he’s brought before a judge for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
