Seneca Falls Police arrested a local man on Friday after an investigation into property damage and theft.
36-year-old Stephen Kennedy, of Seneca Falls, is facing several charges, including criminal tampering, criminal mischief, and petit larceny. One of those charges—criminal mischief in the third degree—is a felony.
Kennedy was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
