A Steuben County man has been arrested on allegations that he sexually abused a child.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports Randy Johnson, of Campbell, is facing charges of rape and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say he allegedly had sexual contact with a person under the age of 17.
After his arraignment, Johnson was released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
