Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that investigators have arrested a Campbell woman in connection with the alleged unauthorized use of another person’s EBT card earlier this year.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Bailey Haar, was taken into custody on November 26. Investigators allege that on January 10, Haar used someone else’s EBT card without permission, purchasing $310.69 worth of items.
Haar is charged with:
- Petit Larceny
- Misuse of Food Stamps
She was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released. Haar is scheduled to appear in Village of Bath Court at a later date.
Sheriff Allard thanked the Steuben County Department of Social Services Fraud and Legal Affairs Unit and the District Attorney’s Office for their assistance with the investigation.
