A 78-year-old Farmington man has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse in the first degree.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Rolando Pasion was taken into custody on November 21 following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division. Authorities say the investigation determined that Pasion allegedly engaged in sexual contact by forcible compulsion with a 17-year-old victim.
Pasion was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await pre-arraignment detention.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
