A Farmington man is facing a number of charges following the investigation into a reported disturbance in Ontario County.
Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at a residence on Loomis Road, where an investigation determined that Dakota Hanna had allegedly attempted to forcibly enter the victim’s home by kicking the door, causing damage. Authorities say his actions were intended to harm the occupant.
Hanna was charged with attempted burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and reckless endangerment of property. He was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
