Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 34-year-old man from Lyons on Nov. 13 following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred the previous day.
It is alleged that during the incident, Jamaal Moody took his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle without her knowledge. He was arrested the following day in the Town of Lyons and charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Following arrest, Moody was transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court where he was remanded without bail. Moody will appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
