The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says a Geneva man has been arrested in connection with a break-in that happened over the summer.
Investigators say 39-year-old Pedro Morales was taken into custody on November 10th on charges including third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies say the charges stem from an August incident where Morales allegedly broke into a building, stole property, and caused damage—all while in possession of drugs.
Morales was brought to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center from the Ontario County Jail and later arraigned in Seneca County’s Centralized Arraignment Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
