Penn Yan Police have arrested a Phelps man wanted in Pennsylvania.
Officers say 27-year-old Jacob Diehm was picked up on an arrest warrant out of Gettysburg for charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession, and having an unregistered vehicle.
Diehm was arraigned in Yates County Court as a fugitive from justice and sent to the county jail in lieu of bail.
The court ordered him to turn himself in to the Pennsylvania State Police and return to court later with proof that he did so.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
