Cornell University leaders, along with local and state officials, gathered Wednesday to celebrate the opening of a new building at the Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park in Geneva.
The 20,000-square-foot facility, known as Tech Farm II, doubles the park’s capacity and expands support for food, beverage, and agricultural innovation across the Finger Lakes.
Located next to Cornell AgriTech, the new space is designed to give startups and established businesses access to research, resources, and facilities that can help them grow and bring new products to market.
The building is the third at the 72-acre park, which also includes Finger Lakes Community College’s Viticulture and Wine Center. Officials say the expansion will create new opportunities for collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in the region.
