Ithaca Police Officers responded to a report of someone having been shot Nov. 1 at 2:14 a.m. on the 300 block of West State Street.
The victim was transported to the regional trauma center for treatment of injuries that were determined to be non-life-threatening. The suspect of the shooting fled the scene before the officers arrived.
The Ithaca Police Department said that the incident was not a random act and is asking that anyone who may have witnessed anything or who has information that may aid the investigation to contact the Ithaca Police Department.
The investigation is still ongoing.
