Centraulis Health Announces Job Cuts

SHARE NOW

Centralus Health is cutting jobs across its network, citing the tough healthcare and economic climate.

The health system says 38 positions are being eliminated — including 20 leadership roles and 18 administrative and corporate service jobs at Arnot and Cayuga Health facilities. That’s about half a percent of Centralus Health’s six-thousand-person workforce.

The company says affected employees will receive a transitional support package.

Centralus Health formed earlier this year when Arnot and Cayuga Health merged under one system. Leaders say despite the cuts, the organization remains one of the region’s largest employers and is committed to providing high-quality care and supporting the communities it serves.
