    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

UPDATE: State Police Report Missing Teens Are Safe

4 p.m. UPDATE: State Police have located both Sierra Foley and Paige Roberts in good health.

We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

The New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Sierra L. Foley, 15, of Sauquoit, and Paige E. Roberts, 16, of Marcy.

Both teens were last seen together on Tuesday night at Sierra’s residence in Oneida County. They are believed to be traveling in an unknown vehicle and may be headed toward New York City or Pennsylvania.

Descriptions:

  • Paige E. Roberts – 5’2”, 150 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes, nose ring, tattoo on left forearm reading “believe” in black ink. Last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt.
  • Sierra L. Foley – 5’4”, 110 lbs, blonde hair, green eyes. Last seen wearing red sweatpants and a red sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the New York State Police at 315-366-6000, referencing case NY2501042972.
