A Bath man is charged with obstructing governmental administration following an incident in the Steuben County village.
Bath Police Officers spotted 63-year-old Mark Burke on Wednesday and knew that he was a suspect from a previous complaint. As officers got out to interview Burke, he fled from officers on an E-Bike. He was apprehended a short time later.
Burke was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Bath Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
