A Wayne County man has been arraigned on murder and multiple felony charges tied to a series of burglaries that investigators say led to a woman’s death.
Michael Pryce is accused of a 2021 crime spree in the towns of Marion and Sodus. Prosecutors say the break-ins resulted in the death of 61-year-old Mary House. Pryce now faces three counts of second-degree murder, along with first- and third-degree burglary, first- and second-degree robbery, and fourth-degree grand larceny.
The Marion man was sent to the Wayne County Jail with no bail and is due back in court in December for a motion hearing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
