An Ithaca man was arrested Tuesday night after police say he threatened someone with a firearm.
Police responded around 10:30 to Nate’s Floral Estates, where they say 64-year-old Bruce Rogers displayed a gun and menaced a victim. Officers were able to safely take Rogers into custody and recover the weapon.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing and was sent to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
