Seneca County Seeks Study on New Highway Barn

SHARE NOW

Seneca County is taking a step toward modernizing its infrastructure.

At last week’s meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved a motion to hire an Albany firm for $24,000 to conduct a feasibility study on replacing the existing highway barn, which has served the county since 1929, with a new one.

Early estimates suggest a new facility could cost $15 million or more, but Supervisor Mike Enslow emphasized that the project is still in the feasibility stage.
