Penn Yan Police arrested 33-year-old Vernon Wenger of Penn Yan following a traffic stop on Main Street.
Officers say a check of Wenger’s license revealed it was suspended for failing to respond to a summons from the Town of Tyre in Seneca County.
Wenger was released with a citation and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
