Canandaigua Police have arrested 45-year-old Thomas Davis of Canandaigua following a reported burglary earlier this month.
Investigators say Davis entered a home in the city on October 10th while armed with a knife, putting the victim in fear for their safety. Police say he then stole an electric tricycle worth more than a thousand dollars from outside the residence before leaving the scene.
Davis was later taken into custody, processed, and transported for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
