The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Honeoye woman after she was involved in a one-car accident at the intersection of Main and Elderberry streets in the town of Richmond.
The accident happened just after midnight Saturday. The driver of the car, 65-year-old Judith Strapp, was taken to Ontario County Jail and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Strapp will appear in Richmond Town Court on a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
