Police in Palmyra have arrested a 54-year-old village resident following a domestic altercation on Canandaigua Street.
According to the Palmyra Police Department, officers responded on October 5th and determined that Stephen Reardon appeared to be under the influence of alcohol when he allegedly struck his mother in the back of the head and made threatening statements.
Investigators say Reardon then blocked her from leaving the residence, restricting her movement.
Reardon was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree. He was processed at the Palmyra Police Department and taken to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
