The Palmyra Police Department reports the arrest of a Palmyra woman following a domestic altercation on West Main Street involving her ex-partner and his current girlfriend.
Officers say Katie DeJohn was allegedly yelling at the parties, throwing property at their vehicle, and interfering with officers who were trying to restore order. Police later confirmed she was also in violation of an active Order of Protection.
DeJohn was taken into custody without injury and transported to the Palmyra Police Department for processing. She is charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, and two counts of Harassment in the Second Degree.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
