A Cayuga County woman is facing felony charges after deputies say she used a stolen credit card.
Sheriff Brian Schenck says 42-year-old Jennifer Thumm, of Genoa, was arrested on September 24 following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say Thumm was in possession of the stolen card and used it in the town of Genoa.
She was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a Class E felony. Thumm was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released with an appearance ticket for Genoa Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
