SHARE NOW

A 60-year-old Himrod man was arrested on a felony charge of menacing after allegedly threatening another person with a knife.

The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports Robert Murk was involved in an argument on Wood Road in Himrod on Saturday, during which he reportedly threatened the individual with a knife. In addition to felony menacing, Murk was charged with harassment.

He was brought to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
