The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Farmington man Thursday night following a reported domestic incident.
Deputies say they responded around 8:50 p.m. to an apartment on Hathaway Drive, where 33-year-old Daymon Ray Armstrong Jr. was taken into custody. He is charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Investigators say the charges stem from a physical altercation between Armstrong and the victim. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
