SHARE NOW

A Webster man is facing charges after deputies say he damaged property at a roadside stand in Wayne County.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Mark Hurley was arrested after a disturbance on Route 350 in Walworth. Deputies allege Hurley was seen smashing pumpkins at the stand, causing about $100 in damage.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, processed at the Wayne County Jail, and released with an appearance ticket for Walworth Town Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
