A Seneca Falls woman is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after deputies say she tried to bring drugs into the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
Sheriff Timothy Thompson says 36-year-old Chelsea Ticer was arrested on Sunday following an investigation into her allegedly arriving at the jail to serve a scheduled weekend sentence while in possession of drugs.
Investigators allege Ticer had fentanyl, methamphetamine, and hydrocodone. She is charged with three counts of first-degree promoting prison contraband, one count of second-degree promoting prison contraband, and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Ticer was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released to appear in Romulus Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
