SHARE NOW

A Bath man is facing a felony drug charge after police say he was found with methamphetamine while on parole.

According to the Village of Bath Police Department, 26-year-old Shaun Haynes was arrested on September 25th and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony.

Police said officers were called to assist New York State Parole at the Budget Inn, and during the investigation, Haynes was allegedly found with a felony-level quantity of methamphetamine.

Haynes was processed and taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment. He is being held without bail.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
