An Auburn woman was arrested by Auburn Police following the investigation into a reported physical domestic incident that happened Saturday night.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the suspect, Nicole Deyo, arrived at the victim’s house uninvited. Once there, Deyo allegedly entered the victim’s home, and a physical domestic incident ensued. During the course of the fight, Deyo is accused of grabbing a large kitchen knife and menacing the victim with it, causing him to fear for his life. There was also an Order of Protection that was active, protecting the victim from Deyo.
As a result of the investigation, Deyo was charged with felony criminal contempt, along with misdemeanor charges of menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
