The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Clyde man following a family trouble investigation in the village.
Deputies say 25-year-old Macarther Ford was taken into custody after allegedly throwing a video doorbell at the victim, striking them.
At the time of the incident, deputies say there was an active refrain-from order of protection in place to protect the victim.
Ford was charged with Criminal Contempt in the first degree and Harassment in the second degree. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
