SHARE NOW

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 30-year-old Tajhenne Walker of Buffalo on September 21 following a theft at Dick’s House of Sports. Walker was caught leaving the store with stolen merchandise and attempted to flee, prompting a foot chase through the store.

She was charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree (Class B Felony), Petit Larceny, Conspiracy in the 6th Degree, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Burglary Tools. Deputies also found Walker in possession of pepper spray, which she allegedly threatened to use against an employee.

Walker was transported to Ontario County Jail, where bail was set at $5,000 cash. She has since posted bail and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the incident and working to identify and locate three additional suspects still at large.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
