4 p.m. UPDATE: The New York State Police advise that Michael Winn, previously reported missing, has been located and is safe. No further information will be released at this time.
A man who was last seen in Canandaigua more than a month ago has been reported missing by his family.
State Police say 59-year-old Michael Winn was last spotted on August 15, 2025, when his white 2020 Cadillac SUV broke down in the Walmart parking lot. Relatives reported him missing after being unable to reach him, and noted he often traveled to the Adirondacks and Lake George areas.
