Seneca Falls Police say a local woman has been arrested after a child abuse investigation.
Officers arrested 25-year-old Mikaela Church around 5:30 p.m. Friday. She is charged with attempted assault in the third degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Church was processed and taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. An order of protection has been requested on behalf of the children.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
