The Ontario County Republican Committee will host its annual Constitution Day Dinner tonight at Club 86 in Geneva, honoring local leaders and featuring prominent state and national Republican figures.
This year’s honorees include:
- Al Cauwels will be named Ontario County Republican of the Year. Cauwels has led the Town of Phelps Republican Committee for a decade and has been active on the county committee. A longtime business owner, he also served 12 years on the Midlakes Board of Education and four years on the Phelps Town Board.
- Hon. Craig J. Doran, recipient of the Patriot Award. Doran, a native of Ontario County, recently retired after a distinguished career as a New York State Supreme Court Justice and Administrative Judge, and has served as a State Assemblyman, county judge, professor, and chairman of the Ontario County Republican Committee.
The evening will include a VIP Reception at 5:30 p.m., cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m., and dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Keynote speaker: Congressman Michael Lawler
Special guest: Conservative radio host Bob Lonsberry
Other guests include Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Senator Pam Helming, and NYS Attorney General candidate Michael Henry.
“This is a night to celebrate our Constitution, honor our outstanding Republicans, and hear directly from the people making the news,” said Chairwoman Trisha Turner.
