Regional Transit Service (RTS) announced that it is expanding service to the new Rochester Regional Health (RRH) campus in Geneva. The partnership, supported by RRH, includes changes to RTS Ontario routes 254 and 261, providing a total of 14 stops per day, Monday through Friday, to improve access to the new facility.
“RTS is happy to continue its partnership with Rochester Regional Health to provide direct access to the new RRH facility in Geneva for customers in Ontario County,” said RTS CEO Miguel Velázquez. “Improving access to critical health care services is a significant need and a common request. I very much appreciate Rochester Regional for stepping up to subsidize these route changes and help meet this growing need for our customers.”
Jerome Scott, Senior Practice Administrator at RRH, said the expanded service reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing comprehensive care at the new Geneva Destination Campus. “We will be offering patient services to Geneva and surrounding towns,” he said.
Updated schedules for RTS Ontario Routes 254 and 261 are available on the RTS website.
