The Keuka College women’s volleyball team closed out the University of Rochester Invitational on Saturday with two straight-set losses.
The Wolves fell 3-0 to host Rochester (25-21, 25-17, 25-21) in the opener. Keuka rallied several times in each set, including a third-set lead at 13-12, but the Yellowjackets pulled away down the stretch. Keuka then struggled against Buffalo State, losing 3-0 (25-10, 25-11, 25-10) in the tournament finale.
Highlights for the Wolves included Alessandra Castañeda (San Antonio, Texas) being named to the All-Tournament Team, Gabby Rodriguez (Floresville, Texas) surpassing 500 career digs, and Addisyn Chorney (Elmira, N.Y.) setting a new personal best with six kills against Rochester.
Keuka College will travel to Oswego State next weekend for a four-match invitational, facing Western Connecticut State and the host Lakers on Friday, followed by Pitt.-Bradford and SUNY Canton on Saturday.
