The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 37-year-old Brendan Snyder following a domestic disturbance in the Town of Conquest.
On September 6, deputies say Snyder allegedly grabbed a victim by the throat and covered their mouth in the presence of multiple children. He was charged with attempted assault in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Snyder was arrested on September 7, processed at the Public Safety Building, and turned over to the Cayuga County Jail for CAP Court arraignment. He is scheduled to appear later in Conquest Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
