The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man wanted on an active warrant out of the Town of Williamson.
Deputies say 51-year-old Zachary A. Levine was taken into custody on Tuesday on Water Street in Lyons. The warrant was issued after Levine failed to appear in Williamson Town Court on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, unlicensed operation, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Levine was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held for arraignment in CAP Court.
he fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
