The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons woman following multiple incidents of theft and identity fraud.
Deputies say 35-year-old Destiny Mantooth unlawfully accessed an iPhone 13 and completed two unauthorized Cash App transactions in the Town of Lyons.
Mantooth was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being held at the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Part.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
