A Dansville woman is facing drug charges in Ontario County.
34-year-old Jessica Monro was arrested during a traffic stop for her apparent failure to stop for a stop sign in the village of Naples on Friday night. It is alleged that deputies located a controlled substance suspected to be crack cocaine in the car.
Monro was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was issued a ticket for failure to stop for a stop sign.
She will appear in Naples Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
