The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 22-year-old Dante Rodriguez, of Lyons, following an incident last Thursday
Deputies found Rodriguez in possession of a Dollar General shopping cart taken from the store without permission. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.
Rodriguez was released with an appearance ticket to answer the charge in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
