Saint Mark’s Terrace in Dundee is partnering with Penn Yan Community Cafe, Inc. to provide daily hot lunches to residents.
For many years, Saint Mark’s Terrace had not offered on-site meals, creating a gap in services that limited opportunities for residents to eat together, socialize, and enjoy nutritious, home-cooked meals. Transportation challenges and the inability to cook for themselves have been major hurdles for seniors, making this partnership a significant benefit.
The new program allows residents to enjoy nutritious meals without leaving their community, following a model used by other senior living communities in the region.
Saint Mark’s Terrace has been serving the Dundee community for 31 years and is dedicated to creating an environment that supports health, happiness, and security for seniors. Offering daily lunches is a key step toward expanding services and enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Community members are invited to join for lunch. Meals are served daily at 11 a.m. for a suggested donation of $5 per meal. Take-out options are available upon request. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 607-243-5377.
