A Bath woman was charged with assault after police say she allegedly threw a tool at another person, causing injury to their face.
Brooke Karns was arrested after Bath Police responded to a physical domestic incident at a residence on Buell Street. The 35-year-old is accused of throwing the tool during a verbal argument.
Following the arraignment at the Steuben County Jail, Karns was released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
