Farmington Teen Charged After Family Trouble Call

SHARE NOW

Deputies arrested a Farmington man Tuesday following a reported family trouble incident at an apartment on Hathaway Drive.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Eliel Torres was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree after deputies responded to the residence around 1354 Hathaway Drive, Apartment 5.

Torres was taken to the Ontario County Jail for CAP court and later released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
