On August 13th, the Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held its August Business After Hours Networking Mixer at Geneva On The Lake, located on 1001 Lochland Rd., Route 14 S, in Geneva. This event was part of the Chamber’s 2025 Business After Hours Season Pass Program, and was coordinated with Jehan Wick, General Manager, and Kristin Welch, Assistant General Manager for Geneva On The Lake. Guests enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the historic landmark property, a sampling of their menu, and the traditional networking opportunities typically offered at the monthly events. The attendee turnout was the largest for the year and the most diverse representation of Chamber customers, with businesses proudly attending from near and far, stating it was their first time at the property.
During the event, the Geneva On The Lake team spoke about the history of the property, many of the current events and happenings that are taking place, and some of what is to come, including their 3rd Annual Spectacular event. This significant event, taking place on Sunday, August 31, features food and wine tastings, followed by an evening of unforgettable music, including lead vocalists of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Geneva On The Lake remains one of the region’s most historic properties, overlooking Seneca Lake, which is well-known and beloved among locals and visitors alike. The resort, a replica of the Lancellotti Villa in Frascati, Italy, was originally built as a private home with construction finishing in 1914. Rich with history and renowned for its beauty, the over 100-year-old property now serves as a boutique resort hotel. Under the ownership of Naved Amed, Geneva On The Lake has shifted its focus to attracting more locals through specializing in award-winning farm-to-table dining and various events throughout the year that provide a family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere, while still offering accommodations and wedding packages for all. During his presentation, Jehan Wick introduced their hard-working staff, including their renowned chef, who took time to speak to the group. Realizing that there were many attendees who had not been to the property in recent years or had not been at all, at the conclusion of the presentation, staff took the opportunity to conduct a follow-up tour of the resort. Mixer guests were encouraged by the entire staff to come visit Geneva On The Lake again and again.
