The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 28-year-old Lakeisha Deyo, of Lyons, following a disturbance on Water Street.
Deputies say Deyo punched a victim in the face several times during an argument, with the incident occurring in front of a 1-year-old child.
She was charged with harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child, and was taken to CAP Court for arraignment scheduled for Friday morning.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
