A Rochester man has been arrested in connection with a Farmington fraud case that authorities say involved more than $100,000 worth of stolen vehicles.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that 42-year-old Chaz Keon Davis was taken into custody on Wednesday at a home on Forgham Circle in Rochester. He was wanted on an arrest warrant for grand larceny in the second degree and assault in the second degree.
Investigators say the case began on August 11, when Davis, along with Patrick Johnson of Rochester and Iselynn Johnson of Pittsford, allegedly used pretenses and another person’s identity to obtain two vehicles from a Farmington business. Both vehicles were later recovered.
During the initial investigation, deputies say Davis fled while being advised of his Miranda rights, injuring a deputy in the process. The deputy was treated at F.F. Thompson Hospital and has since returned to duty.
Patrick and Iselynn Johnson were arrested earlier this month. Davis is the third suspect to be charged in the case.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
